The Scarecrow is a motion activated sprinkler that can be used to deter large pest birds from open spaces.

How the Scarecrow works:
An infrared sensor detects birds when they are present up to 35 feet away. The unit releases an immediate spray of water. Birds will associate being sprayed with the area, and avoid it in the future.

How Are They Sold?
Scarecrows are sold as one complete unit including the sprinkler head, garden hose attachment, and two-part stake. You will need a 9-volt alkaline battery and garden hose for operation. (sold separately).

The Scarecrow is a motion activated sprinkler that sprays out a stream of water when motion is sensed up to 35 feet away. The Scarecrow is meant for outdoor use, and easily attaches to a garden hose. Each unit can spray up to 35 feet out, and 45 feet wide.

The scarecrow “body” snaps and screws together.  You install a 9-volt battery into the compartment below the “head”, and attach a garden hose to the base. The Scarecrow has a stake for easy installation in grass areas or dirt areas. Set the Scarecrow in an area 35 feet or less from where the birds are a problem.
